1964 CADILLAC HEARSE

History..

Built by the Miller Meteor Co, Ohio USA on a Cadillac commercial chassis.

In 1964 started it's working life in San Francisco California with a large funeral home that special ordered it to coincide with the opening of their new facility.

Sold a few years later to a funeral home in the Napa Valley of California where it served the small community for almost 30 years.

The hearse was in excellent original condition having travelled a mere 87,000 miles. It was purchased and imported to Melbourne Australia by Phillip Smith, now the 3rd owner.

Features...

This impressive Cadillac features traditional black paintwork with a contrasting black & white interior. The spacious interior accepts a full size American style casket and allows ample room for floral tributes.

A unique “3-way” Electric casket table moves automatically through either side or rear doorways. The Hearse is powered by a 7.2lt V8 Cadillac engine with Automatic Transmission.  

Suitable for traditional or modern funerals or when a classic black vehicle is required.
